Every year, the National Sea Day celebrates the deep bond between Italy and its sea: an embrace of beauty, memory, and identity that spans coasts, islands, and traditions.
On this special occasion, Polar Horizon has been invited, with Sara Catella, co-founder with Daisy Yao of this educational project, to participate to two events in Ventimiglia (Italy).
Friday 11/4/25 was completly dedicated to the students where we have introduced the beauty of polar regions and how importanti s to preserve those areas for the climate.
On Saturday 12/4/25 , the Yacht Club Cala del Forte, the Centro Velico Ventimigliese and the Comune di Ventimiglia, has organised an event with the aim to talk about a very important theme like climate change. Sara Catella had spoken about “Polar Regions : Sentinels of Climate Change” to raise awarness on how the melting of polar regions are affecting the entire planet.
